About Us
Our Educational Methods
At Wild Roots, we encourage children’s curiosity, imagination, and exploration. Through play and hands-on learning, children will learn and develop the skills needed to be successful in kindergarten and beyond. We understand that children develop at different rates, and we will provide developmentally appropriate activities and experiences that meet the needs of each individual child.
You will find that our indoor environment, outdoor play space, and many activities have an emphasis on nature. Studies have shown that natural outdoor play spaces improve physical fitness, stimulate social development, increase creativity, increase pretend play, and encourage children to work together and take turns. Natural environments have also been shown to result in more time actively playing among children. One of our main goals here at Wild Roots Early Learning Center is to provide children with the opportunity to develop a love and respect for nature.
